I’ve been horrible (again) at posting my work. Last year I posted one image from every wedding I photographed in 2013. This year I’ve decided to post my favorites from most of our 2014 weddings. I say “most” because I had a few couple’s who have asked not to be shown online for various reasons. 2014 was a fun year as a wedding photographer in Buffalo, with our downtown scene ever changing there are always new and exciting areas & venues to photograph. In previous years I’ve always had a few weddings outside our area. The only weddings I photographed out of the Buffalo area were both on Valentine’s Day weekend, and during a snow storm. Trust me when I say, I was thrilled to stay in the area after driving through two snow storms in February. Some of my favorite Buffalo venues from 2014 include:
- Frank Lloyd Wright Boat House
- Burchfield Penney Art Gallery
- The Twentieth Century Club (where I had my wedding reception)
- The Marquis Ballroom at Hotel Lafayette
- The Golden Ballroom at Statler City
- The Mansion on Delaware
My 2014 weddings also included a few “firsts” for me, which rarely happens as I’ve been photographing wedding for over 9 years. I had an amazing engagement session at the Lancaster Airport. You can check out the blog post here. Below you’ll also see a full rainbow from one of my October weddings. I also had a group of guys drop trousers in the middle of a golf course (not pictured for privacy reasons). All of the 2014 weddings were a lot of fun, I’m really looking forward to starting the 2015 wedding season soon!
Without further adieu here are a few of my favorites wedding portraits from 2014…
