2020 Holiday Mini Sessions

Ho…Ho…Ho…here come the holidays! And, with that, our always-anticipated, annual Holiday Mini Sessions. Our studio is already feeling merry and bright – we’ve repainted the studio red and white for the season, we’ve got holiday music buzzing on the radio, and we are ready to capture your festive portraits! Read on for all of this year’s session details, including our COVID precautions.

What: Our Holiday Mini Sessions are 20-minute sessions in our studio for five people (with the option to add up to an additional two people). Each session comes with access to a personal online portrait gallery where you can view, select, and order your images. Additionally, we will send all holiday mini session clients a link to our card catalog to peruse holiday card designs and options.

When: To abide by COVID protocols, we have planned our sessions over multiple days/weekends so we can safely social distance our clients between sessions (typically holiday minis are offered just one day and sessions are back-to-back). We have available dates in November for our early-bird holiday clients and also a weekend available in December.

Session Times: The first session of each mini session date will be at 10:00 a.m. and the last session will be at 6:00 p.m. We have allotted time between each session to disinfect the studio.

Where: All sessions for the dates listed above will be at Lovely Day Photo’s studio located at 546 Delaware Ave, Suite 1Q, Buffalo, NY 14202. In an effort to meet all of our clients’ comfort levels, we will offer a very limited number of holiday mini outdoor sessions if you would rather not be inside at the studio. We have a maximum of five sessions available and they are first-come, first-served. Please contact us directly if you would prefer to reserve an outdoor session.

Pricing: Each mini session is $90. Due to high demand, the session fee must be paid in full within 24 hours of booking. Otherwise, your time slot will be released and available for the next client on our waiting list. And, your session fee includes a Facebook digital portrait file (like the one below) – perfect for a cover photo! Any portrait orders placed within 5 days of receiving your image gallery will receive a 10% discount.

Parking: On-street parking only, so please allow extra time before the start of your session to find a spot nearby.

Booking: Click the link below to view our availability and select a time slot that works best for you through our online booking system.  Remember, your mini session is officially confirmed only once payment is received within 24 hours of your reservation.

Safety Measures: We are doing our part to safeguard your health and abide by NYS COVID guidelines:

• We have planned our sessions over multiple days/weekends so we can safely social distance our clients between sessions.
• We are disinfecting the studio between each session, every day.
• We have hand-sanitizer available at all times.
• Photographer is wearing a mask at all times.
• All clients are required to complete a COVID questionnaire within 24 hours of their session date.  If a client has signs of illness or possible exposure, we will reschedule their session.
