I met Kate and Doug for the first time on their wedding day. They live in Boston where Doug is an Orthodontist… which slightly ironic since I have braces. Generally I try to schedule an engagement session when the couple is in town. Except for this wedding their wedding was located in Finley lake, a place Kate’s family has been vacationing every summer for years. It’s so special when family and friends from both sides travel so far for a wedding. It really shows how much love there is for this couple!

What’s that attached to Kate’s Heal?! It’s a little plastic stopper that help prevent your heels from sinking into the ground. What a great idea for outside weddings. I couldn’t find those exact ones but I did find a place that sells them online. http://www.nosinkheels.com/
